Q: Do you offer hairstyling as well as makeup?
A: I choose not to offer it as a main service, but am able for instance to assist with styling on the day if needs be.
Q: How many people can you 'make up' on the day?
A: This is totally dependant on how much time is available. If hired for a photoshoot for instance I may be required to do makeup for 10+ people, but this wouldn't be possible in 2 hours!
Q: How do I book a consultation?
A: Firstly, please enquire as to whether your wedding date is still available! If it is, you can then book a convenient date for your consultation, which is secured in my diary on receipt of a full deposit.
Q: How soon can I book you for my wedding date?
A: There's no limit to how early... it's how late that can be a problem! I always say that to avoid disappoinment, the earlier the better. I get a lot of my bridal clients through being recommended, & so most brides confidently book their wedding date before they have even had their consultation. Whether you want to do it like this is entirely up to you. Either way, your wedding date is secured in my diary on receipt of 50% of the wedding day balance.
Q: Do the prices on your website include travel expenses?
A: Travel expenses are included for areas within 5 miles of Par/Fowey, thereafter I charge 40pence per mile to & from your home/venue starting from Fowey. Long distance travel expenses are negotiable.
Q: Do you accept credit or debit cards?
A: If necessary I can accept Credit or Debit cards through the online service 'Paypal'. If you choose to pay by Paypal, there will be an additional charge added to the total payable as I myself would incur a charge for receiving your payment!
Q: When do you require the remaining balance to be settled?
A: The remaining wedding day balance is payable on the day of your wedding if paying by cash or cheque, or the day before your wedding if paying by credit/decbit card through Paypal.
Q: How do I pay you by 'Paypal'?
A: I will send you an invoice by email, & then you simply follow the on screen instrcutions & enter your card details on the paypal secure server when prompted.
Q: What if I need to cancel my booking?
A: If you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can inform other brides their date is now available. Any deposits paid are non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Q: I've got sensitive skin, can you still do my makeup?
A: Yes, but do inform me of all sensitivites/allergies before the trial commences so I can accomodate any problems. If you have any severe allergies, you must make me aware of these prior to the consultation date.
