It's important for Ella Butler makeup artist Cornwall to get a sense of their clients' personality, likes and dislikes in order for them to look and feel comfortable in their own skin.  That's why it is essential to have a consultation/trial prior to the wedding if you can.  Please feel free to show Ella any magazine clippings, dress swatches or accessories you may have.  After discussing them with you, Ella will then create a look that's personally tailored to you.  Usually the consultation and trial lasts approximately 2 hours for the bride alone and is best carried out at around 2 months to go, once you know what you'll be wearing and how you'll be styling your hair.  Although, you can have a trial much earlier or later than that if required.  It's recommended that anyone requiring wedding makeup on the wedding day has a trial, but this is entirely up to you.

Ella will arrive at your pre-wedding location (be it your home, hotel or other venue) and proceed to recreate the agreed final look from your trial.  Should you wish to make any last minute alterations to the look, do feel free to say.  It's your wedding day and everything should be how you want it.  Please allow up to 45 minutes for bridesmaids / the mother of the bride, and at least an hour for the brides makeup.  The bride's makeup is usually done last to ensure it remains fresh for as long as possible.   All you have to do is sit back and relax in the knowledge that the annoying pimple, tired eyes and shiny face will not be visible in your wedding photos!
